Emergency calls:

If you are in emergency and you cannot call to your friend or to you relative because you are out of a network approach. But you do not need to worry you can dial 112 this is the international emergency number and when you dial 112 your mobile automatically attach with that network which is approaching you. And interestingly this number 112 can be dialed even if the keypad is locked. Try it out.
Use your cell phone as modem:
Sometime your are unable to access the internet because you ISP(internet service provider) fail to provide internet access. Then you can access internet through your mobile as well for this purpose you need a PC suit for your mobile and data cable or bluetooth to connect your mobile with your computer. Through your mobile network you can access internet.you can get more information from your network connection provider.

You are in a middle of a surprise meeting or are in a situation where you are in hurry just start the audio recording feature of your mobile phone and record conversations and later move it to your computer using USB. Its a very useful feature at times of emergency.
